It is with profound sadness that we announce Thiru. Naganather Vijayanathan passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2020 (1:15pm EST) at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro Township, New Jersey, USA.
He was the son of late S. Naganather and late Puspakanthiamma,
Son-in-law of late Sinnathurai Nagalingam and Nanmalar,
Dedicated husband of Lalitha ,
Loving father of Ram Vijayanathan and Krishna Vijayanathan,
Loving Father-in-law to Rupal Amin,
Loving grandfather to Mila Lakshmi,
Brother of late Sri Pushpanathan (late Ankayatkarasy), late Balasubramaniam (Parameswary), late Dharmavathy Ratnasabapathy, late Punithavathy Velummayilum, late Sathiadevi Shanmuganathan, Pathmadevi Ponnampalam, Sivanathan (Kalamathy), Kousalathevi Premachandran) and Sathianathan (Kalavathy).
Uncle of Ramesh, Ganesh, Kumaresh, Keshan, Pratheeban, Senthan, Dr. Indrajit, Subran, Prakash, and Punitha.
Cousin of the Nadarajah family: Rajeswary(Kandasamy); Late Sathiabama(Sornalingam); Late Rukmani(Subramaniam); Vijayalakshmi(Balendran); Sivakumaran(Balini); Rajakumaran(Jegajanani)

"Vijayanathan is a relative of mine. Although I have heard about him back home, I met him for the first time only in New Jersey. He was a wonderful person to be around. He will always relate nice old stories about my father, whom he had known as a young man, and our family. We'll all miss him. "
