He is the beloved eldest son of the late Kangesu and Rasammah of Chankanai,

Beloved husband of the late Gunanayaki,

Loving father in law of Kannapiran (London), Chandrothayam (Denmark), Vanaja (Swiss), Sabanathan (London) and Ranjithamalar (Swiss),
Kind and loving brother of Sabanathan (Sandilipay), Balasundaram (deceased), Balakrishnan (Chankanai), Sakunthaladevi (deceased), Ruparani (Germany), Ilangovan (London) and Parameswary (Vavuniya),
Loving brother in law of Thilaganayaki (deceased), Jeevalakshmi, Paramanayagam (deceased),
Nesanayagam, Suriyakumaran (deceased), Revathi, Thanapathy, Kayilanathan, Thuraisingam, Jeyalingam, Bojalingam, Kanthagowri, Indrakumaran (deceased) and Chandrakumaran,
